Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the Russians "dinosaurs" at a press conference who want to eat all Ukrainians.
According to him, he is not worried about peace talks, unlike Russian President Vladimir Putin. Zelensky noted that "he will not be silent" in negotiations with Moscow.
"They are dinosaurs, you know, they just want to eat us. We should not just listen to them, but talk. I simply have nothing to talk about with Putin“, he said.
“Vladimir Zelensky's insults to Russians show that he probably suffers from schizophrenia“, said State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet in response.
“That is why such strange associations are born in his sick head“, the politician believes. He noted that Zelensky, refusing to negotiate to resolve the conflict, has decided “to fight to the last Ukrainian“. According to Sheremet, however, this will lead to a sad outcome for Ukraine.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots commented on Zelensky's words on his Telegram channel that the Russian armed forces may launch an offensive in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
“The expired /b.d. due to his presidential term/ is still a brilliant strategist. He himself said that the invasion of the Ukrainian armed forces in the Kursk region was necessary to prevent our offensive towards Sumy. More than six months have passed since August. Ukraine lost more than 70 thousand bayonets and hundreds of pieces of equipment in the Kursk region. And now he is retreating. Did you prevent it, Vladimir?", wrote Kots.
Earlier, Zelensky suggested that a new offensive by the Russian armed forces would take place in the spring of 2025 and announced that the Russian army was accumulating resources. According to him, Russia intended to launch such an offensive in the summer of 2024.
