Russian troops carried out 115 shelling of border areas and settlements in Sumy region on Monday, the regional military administration announced in its daily report, News.bg reports.
"228 explosions were registered. The municipalities of Verkhnesirovatskaya, Khotynskaya, Yunakovskaya, Miropolskaya, Belopolskaya, Krasnopolskaya, Velikopisarevskaya, Esmanskaya, Shalyginskaya, Sveskaya, Khutor-Mikhailovska and Seredinobudskaya were subjected to shelling," the statement said.
One local resident was injured in the Shalyginskaya municipality, which was attacked with multiple rocket launchers (MLRS), artillery and drones. In addition, two cars were damaged.
As a result of the shelling, two private houses were damaged in the Krasnopolska municipality, and nine homes in the Verkhnesyrovatska municipality.
