Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Kremlin is openly mocking the West's attempts to stop the war instigated by Vladimir Putin, the BBC reported, News.bg reports.
"Moscow is openly mocking the partners' efforts to promote the peace process - continuous drone attacks, brutal shelling. Only through decisive pressure can this be stopped and Russia be forced to peace," Zelensky said in his evening address.
He stressed that Europe would not forget the moral lessons of this war and insisted that Russia should not go unpunished.
"To legalize what they did in Bucha, in Mariupol and in other our cities and villages is simply impossible. "We will continue to work to ensure that responsibility for this war will be borne by Russia – and it will be concrete," the Ukrainian president stressed.
