The Lithuanian authorities have transferred six air defense systems to Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky announced.
“We have new air defense systems from Lithuania - six“, Zelensky said in a video message posted on his Telegram channel.
It is not specified whether they have already been delivered to Ukraine and what exactly these systems are.
Earlier, Zelensky said that he had reached an agreement with Western partners to obtain licenses for the production of air defense systems. As Forbes magazine previously reported, the Ukrainian armed forces, together with their allies, began looking for ways to replace US-made air defense weapons after the scandalous meeting between US President Donald Trump and Zelensky at the White House.
