At least three civilians were killed and six others were injured in US strikes on the Houthi-controlled Yemeni capital Sanaa, rebel health ministry spokesman Anis al-Asbahi said.
“According to preliminary data, three civilians were killed and six were injured as a result of US aggression, which carried out several strikes on houses in the Shaab al-Hafa area of Sanaa“, he wrote on his X page.
On Sunday evening, the rebel-owned Al Masirah TV channel reported that the US had carried out four strikes on Kamaran Island, which is located in the Red Sea. There were no reports of casualties as a result of this attack.
On March 15, the United States, under the order of Trump, began carrying out massive strikes against Houthi targets, who control about a third of Yemen's territory. According to the US Central Command, the operation is aimed at protecting American interests and ensuring freedom of navigation. In response, the rebels launched a series of attacks on the US aircraft carrier "Harry Truman" and accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea, using missiles and drones.
There is no information about damage to the ships as a result of the strikes.
