Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga had a phone call with his German counterpart, Analena Berbock, to discuss the international response to the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih on April 4, Ukrinform reported, BTA reports.
„I spoke with German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock, who expressed condolences for the killing of Ukrainian children in Kryvyi Rih. "We discussed serious international reactions that should follow the murder of nine children," Sibiga wrote on the social network "Ex".
During the conversation, the Ukrainian minister expressed his gratitude to Germany and personally to Berbok for their support.
On April 4, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on a residential area in Kryvyi Rih, killing 19 people, including 9 children, and injuring 74. That same night, the city was attacked with drones, killing one person and injuring seven, Ukrinform recalls.
On April 6, it was reported that another man had died of his wounds in a hospital in Kryvyi Rih after the attack. Ukraine declared April 6 a day of mourning in memory of the victims of Russian aggression.
