"Singer Alla Pugacheva received unique people's love in Russia, but did not appreciate it". This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
"There is popularity, there is fame, there is success and there is a unique phenomenon - the love of the people. Unfortunately, one person did not appreciate and ignored this. I can't say, I don't want to judge, but for all of us this should be a lesson," she said in an interview with the MGIMO 360 news channel.
The diplomat noted that such a situation should become an example for all people so that they can make the right choice in life and not fall into such traps.
"I believe that the only reason why life presents such situations is so that we can learn from them. Because this is a truly terrible example," Zakharova added.
The official representative of the diplomatic department emphasized that the songs performed by Pugacheva are "a synergy of the work of a huge number of people." She noted that the “greatest songs“ that the country's residents associate with the singer were written to verses by People's Artist of Russia Ilya Reznik.
“When we talk about greatness, we must understand that it is woven by a huge number of people: someone writes poetry, someone writes music, someone makes fantastic arrangements. The songs, I assure you, will live. These were great songs, they remain great songs, they are still sung and will continue to be sung“, Zakharova concluded.
In the spring of 2022, the singer left with her family for Israel. In the summer of 2024, information appeared on some Telegram channels that Pugacheva wanted to come to Russia. Her husband, comedian Maxim Galkin, who has been declared a foreign agent by Moscow, in August denied information that Pugacheva was planning to return to Russia for a solo concert. In early October, it became known that the singer had left Israel a year ago.
