New version of the Comet navigation chip! Russian bombs with a unified planning module now hit targets with higher accur

Russian blogger Fighterbomber, who is close to the Russian Air Force, announced the appearance of a new version of the "Comet" navigation chip. As a result, it is claimed that Russian bombs with a unified planning and correction module (UMPK) can hit targets with higher accuracy, UNIAN reports.

According to the report, Ukraine has already been studying older versions of the "Comet" chip of "Glonass". In addition, the Ukrainian armed forces have begun to use means to jam planner bombs with old chips. The bombs fell in the field, not reaching their targets.

However, now it is alleged that the Russian planner bombs are equipped with the third version of the "Comet". The Russian blogger assures that the new "Comets" have supposedly already entered into operation.

"So far, the reviews are very good. From all the directions where they have been flying for the second day, the reviews are approximately the same as in the video. And this is great", the blogger says, publishing a video with the explosion of a bomb, probably a planned bomb with the new "Comet".

At the same time, he admitted that the new "Comet" will not live long, but only until the Ukrainian armed forces study it and find means of counteraction. However, the blogger is optimistic that such chips can be produced in hundreds per day and "radically grind down Ukraine's border". He adds: "Currently, work is being done on this issue:

"We need to act quickly, massively and intelligently. This is, of course, very difficult, but we must try."

Radio engineering specialist Sergei "Flash" Beskrestnov confirmed in a comment to the Ukrainian media that the Russians have a new version of the "Comet" navigation chip. For now, this information is rather unofficial.

"Russia does have a 12-element Comet antenna. This means that this antenna is reinforced and protects the satellite navigation signal from our electronic warfare. This is true“, he added.

The expert added that this 12-element antenna is found on the “Shahed” drones, but not on all of them, but only on those that are manufactured in Izhevsk and have maximum Russian equipment.

“The Russians claim that this “Comet” will soon be installed on all KABs. But for now, at this moment, I have no confirmation from all structures that such KABs have been found. That is, I assume that they will do it, but there is no such confirmation yet”, the expert added.
