Russian President Vladimir Putin called for resistance to all who are trying to justify the crimes of the Nazis today.
This call by the head of state is contained in the greeting to the organizers and guests of the exhibition “Without the right to forget. To the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory“, which was read by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
"Today we see what destructive consequences the falsification of historical facts leads to. "And that is why we must firmly uphold the truth about the decisive contribution of our fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers to the Great Victory and resist those who try to justify the crimes of the invaders and murderers, who in our days are trying to revive the ideology of national superiority and exceptionalism," Putin's greeting reads.
