When buying a car, many people take into account such a parameter as liquidity. All models lose value over time, but some depreciate faster and are not at all profitable on resale. The British publication WhatCar has done a new, in-depth study on the topic of car liquidity.

This time the WhatCar experts focus on crossovers, as this is currently the most popular class of car on the market. Despite the high demand, among crossovers there are models that depreciate much faster than others. As part of the study, the cost loss over three years of use was analyzed.

The study shows that Stellantis crossovers and more specifically electric crossovers are getting cheaper the most. For example, the price of the DS3 E-Tense has been reduced by 74.7% in three years. Citroen e-C4 is cheaper by 72.4%, and Opel/Vauxhall Mokka Electric - by 71.7%. Here are the ten fastest depreciating crossovers according to WhatCar.

The most illiquid crossovers on the market:

DS3 E-Tense - 74.7% loss of value.
Citroen e-C4 - loss of 72.4% of value.
Opel/Vauxhall Mokka Electric - loss of 71.7% of value.
Maserati Levante - loss of 70.5% of value.
