More than once we have told you about the cars of the powerful politicians of the day, and it was in these articles that it was about one of the favorite cars of the GERB leader. While he was prime minister, Borisov regularly toured our country in a Toyota Sequoia car. Now this Japanese car has a new version.
Its name is given in honor of the former ranch on which the plant in San Antonio, where the Sequoia is produced, is located. The ranch was founded in 1794 by Spanish colonist Juan Ignacio de Casanova and was owned by his descendants until 2003, when it was sold to Toyota.
Special features for the 1794 edition include walnut wood accents, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, "captain" second-row bucket seats, 20-inch wheels, a panoramic glass roof, and a towing technology package. The SUV also gets individual badging inside and out. Pricing for the Sequoia 1794 Edition starts at $82,080.
Other trim levels on the 2025 Toyota Sequoia include SR5 starting at $64,120, Limited starting at $70,520, Platinum starting at $81,265, TRD Pro starting at $81,990 and Capstone starting at $85,610. All-wheel drive is standard on all models except the SR5 and Limited, which come standard with rear-wheel drive. Adding all-wheel drive to these models is a $3,000 option.
Other changes for the new 2025 version include a new Mudbath color exclusive to the TRD Pro off-road model. The massaging seats that are standard on the 1794 Edition are also standard on the Platinum and Capstone models and are available as an option on the rest of the range.
The only engine offered in the Sequoia is Toyota's i-Force Max hybrid unit, which is also used in the Tundra. It produces 437 hp. power and consists of a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine and an electric motor-generator located between the engine and the transmission, which is a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
