The electric car Volkswagen ID.3 from 2025 has received a new, more affordable modification. Unfortunately, at the moment this cheap version is only available in China, with its price starting at 119,900 yuan (15,300 euros). This is reported by CarNewsChina. In our country the price of ID.3 starts at 78,440 leva.
The cheapest electric car, Volkswagen ID.3, is produced in China at the SAIC-VW enterprise, which is the main reason for reducing its price. In addition, the hatchback received a new lithium-iron-phosphate battery from CATL.
The battery capacity is 53.6 kWh, which provides a range of 451 km. Fast charging from 30 to 80% takes 48 minutes - this is slightly slower than in more expensive modifications of the Volkswagen ID.3. The 170-horsepower electric motor on the rear axle remained unchanged.
Externally, the new Volkswagen ID.3 2025 is no different from last year's electric car. But there are changes in the cabin - an enlarged 12.9-inch touchscreen has been installed and the climate control has been updated. In addition, a new center console with wireless charging for smartphones has appeared.
