The Plovdiv Airport Development Fund begins negotiations for the opening of an air line Madrid-Plovdiv. On May 19, the executive director of Plovdiv Airport Doychin Angelov will present the idea to the Bulgarian community in Madrid. The meeting will take place in the building of the Spanish high school IES Santamarca, where the Bulgarian school "St. Ivan Rilski".
This is the third in a series of meetings with Bulgarians abroad. The first two were in Malaga and Vienna, and the negotiations for the destinations in question are already in an advanced phase, reports the Plovdiv airport.
Negotiations were also held for two other destinations – Brussels and Marseille. They took place during the international forum Routes Europe, which brings together representatives of the aviation industry from all over Europe and provides the incredible opportunity to directly negotiate new air routes.
To date, the Plovdiv Airport Development Fund includes the municipalities of Plovdiv, Smolyan, Chepelare, Rodopi, Sopot, Kaloyanovo, Kuklen, Hisarya, Saedinenie, Sadovo, Brezovo, Perushtitsa and three legal entities, private companies – Pamporovo AD, Grand Hotel Plovdiv, SNC Fund Fenix.
