The time change on Sunday changes the timetable of 14 trains

< p>The upcoming time change, on the night of Sunday (October 27), will require changes to the timetable of 14 passenger trains. This is reported by BDZ.

During the transition from summer to winter time, it is necessary for the trains to stop at different railway stations on the night between 10/26/2024 and 10/27/2024. This is necessary in order not to disrupt the train schedule.< /p>

BDZ adds that the existing practice in railway transport when switching from summer to winter time is for trains to make a stop within 60 minutes at the first station on their routes when approaching 04:00 after midnight.

In this way, the timetable of the trains is not disturbed and it is avoided that they pass through the respective stations earlier than announced, which would lead to serious confusion in the timetable and for other trains connecting with those affected by the time change compositions.
