The manager of the Complex Oncology Center is accused of embezzlement – Vratsa Dr. Grigor Tomov resigned today. The information was confirmed by the chairman of the Municipal Council – Vratsa Vladimir Hristov, as the council is the principal of the medical facility, reported BNT.
According to Hristov, in the reasons for his resignation, Dr. Tomov states that he does not want to influence the investigation in any way, that he feels innocent and that he worked to raise the authority of KOTC-Vratsa. In order for the resignation to become a fact, a vote must be taken at a meeting of the ObS-Vratsa, explained Vladimir Hristov.
Dr. Grigor Tomov was detained after an operation by the law enforcement authorities on October 29 and is currently under house arrest. He is accused of embezzlement, and the investigation is conducted under the supervision of the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office.
