Given the positions of PP-DB, GERB does not find in them a readiness to form a ruling majority and elect a chairman of the National Assembly. This was stated by Daniel Mitov after the Executive Committee of GERB, quoted by novini.bg.
"We are only observing preparations for another early election and an attempt to "install" of a caretaker prime minister. Leadership negotiations will be held only for a ruling majority and a regular cabinet," he reaffirmed the party's decision.

"Governing the country goes through talks. On Thursday, I called Atanas Atanasov and Ivaylo Mirchev. I told them to act responsibly. I can make another compromise and have the Speaker of the National Assembly be from the second political force. I told Atanasov that I trust him if he will be chairman. But we can't give in for prime minister," said Boyko Borisov, leader of GERB.
