Tatyana Doncheva: Don't rely on stupid moves for any depth - 1

A way out of the current situation in the parliament and the blockage around the election of the president can be found if the positions regarding Revival change. This is what Tatyana Doncheva, leader of Movement 21, part of the BSP-United Left coalition, told bTV Radio.

She commented on yesterday's development in the parliament, during which for the sixth time no speaker was elected, the MPs from DB did not participate in the runoff, and Delyan Peevski talked about a “Moscow” coalition.

"Don't rely on stupid moves for any depth. In general, they are playing weaklings, and even those who have the desire and perhaps a little better opportunity to play the situation, cannot. The reason is in the parliamentary ratio. I think GERB's predictions were also different and inaccurate, don't go by what Peevski said. The more his every stupidity is commented on, the more it is given an importance that he does not have. The question is whether it is possible to get out of this situation. Maybe, first by stopping looking at Revival in a scholastic way, guided by what someone from Brussels said."

"In this sense, I think that the position regarding Revival is inaccurate and false, and there is a way with negotiations, with a different arrangement of priorities, to reach an agreement on the management of the parliament, without it being a drama. And I think that's where the puzzle lies, because there has to be a large enough group to complement it, assuming that it's not possible to move Peevski and remove him and isolate him from political life as the number 1 priority. This has to do with everyone other declared priorities – judicial reforms, SJC election claims and anything you can think of. The complexity comes from the fact that there are preliminary agreements and these agreements between GERB, New Beginnings and the current leadership of the BSP are an obstacle to playing more freely, more efficiently and differently.“, Tatiana Doncheva pointed out.
