A key political week has begun, NOVA reported.
The expectations are that President Rumen Radev will announce when he will hand over the first mandate to form a government to GERB-SDF.
The head of state delayed handing over the folder to give the parties a chance to continue negotiations. Last week, the first political force in parliament - GERB-SDF - held a series of talks with „BSP - United Left“ and „There is such a people“ in search of support for a cabinet.
Before that, talks were also held with „Democratic Bulgaria”, but they did not lead to a result. Without the Democrats, however, GERB-SDF, „BSP-United Left” and Slavi Trifonov's people - do not have the necessary 121 votes.
Against this background, the National Council of the Bulgarian Socialist Party decided - the left will sign an agreement to govern the state. And from a press release to the media it became clear that “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms-DPS” also held a meeting with the three formations, at which the possibilities for forming a parliamentary majority that would form a cabinet were discussed.
