The first mandate can be returned fulfilled, immediately after it is handed over by the president. If they managed to do it, I see no problem with the caretaker ministers remaining in their posts. This was stated in the studio of "Your Day" on NovaNews by PR expert Nidal Algaffari.
"There is talk that Borislav Gutsanov, Atanas Zafirov, Toshko Yordanov and Rosen Zhelyazkov will be ministers in a possible new cabinet, and they are quite prominent political figures", he added.
And according to journalist Assen Genov, a large part of the caretaker ministers will probably keep their posts. "Among them is the foreign minister, despite the scandal over Srebrenica. After years of efforts to make steps towards power, the parties cannot present bright, prominent party figures related to their political program. The new cabinet will bring together the former wings of the Bulgarian Communist Party, which makes me wonder how exactly it will be pro-European. Clear control of actions and a clear position on important foreign policy issues can help its Euro-Atlantic orientation," he commented.
