“There are such people” who participate in the government because the financial situation of the state could no longer stand the fact that there is no regular government. This was stated on the air of “Crossroads” Pavela Mitova, a deputy from the ITN.
“The revenue side must be increased and the expenditure side gradually reduced. The reins must be tightened a little, without increasing taxation”, she believes.
According to her, the ITN has been warning about the crisis for a long time. “Slavi Trifonov ended the government with PP-DB and BSP before precisely because of the financial policy pursued by the then Finance Minister Assen Vassilev. Such approaches, which increase the debt, are not the right decision. If a family constantly takes out quick loans to repay previous ones, at some point it will fall into serious financial difficulty. The same is true with the state”, Mitova also said.
”Currently, talks are underway, including about the sectoral program. Mr. Donchev is collecting data from the various political parties on how to balance the programs of the three formations participating in the government. We have no intention of closing down Bulgaria's coal-fired energy sector. We intend to rely on it”, the MP concluded.
