This is cynicism. This was stated by Maya Alexandrova, part of “Rebellious Bulgaria“ in the Eurocom studio in her comment on the report submitted by the municipal councilor Vanya Grigorova, aiming at the almost complete shutdown of night city lines in Sofia.
„The same Vanya Grigorova, who before the elections stated that she was protecting the interests of working people, today deprives working people of the only means of transportation that they can afford. With this anti-social report, the municipal councilor forces every worker going to or returning from a night shift and using public transport for 2 leva, to get into a taxi for 20 leva. So, he has to work only to pay for his transportation! If not – Vanya Grigorova cynically pointed out the scooter option.
Is this social policy with care for people? Is this the leftist and social policy in defense of people's rights that Vanya Grigorova was proclaiming before the elections?“, Maya Alexandrova reacted and added:
„We must be rebellious against any such arrogance and injustice. Otherwise, they will still put us on scooters in the middle of winter“.
In the political conversation: „This is the most unprincipled parliament in the recent history of Bulgaria, which came after fake elections. Because we all witnessed manipulations, rewriting of protocols, turning off video surveillance, buying votes by various parties. There is no way to imagine that after some fake elections, which logically gave birth to the same fake parliament, we will have a legitimate government“, said Maya Alexandrova, emphasizing:
