The most abnormal government in Bulgaria was when she was Minister of Energy and Boyko Borisov was Prime Minister. According to him, the hearing of Petkova, who is currently the Minister of Finance, was completely pointless.
"This hearing was initiated by “Vazrazhdane“, not by GERB. This is not surprising, since GERB usually uses “Vazrazhdane“ when they have to ask PP-DB something that is not pleasing to the face. Temenuzhka Petkova's defenders - from ITN and BSP - her lawyers, the little crutches, save Petkova, who is visibly incompetent. Preliminarily prepared questions from “Vazrazhdane“, given to GERB. Temenuzhka Petkova just turns the page and reads the answer", Vassilev told the scenario of the hearing.
"At the same time, she has no data, no information and does not want to answer other questions that are very important. Like this one, for example: why did the “Customs“ Agency and the National Revenue Agency give out such bonuses? Why are the two directors – Specsov and Dimov, on their knees, singing chalga songs and lending each other money, and at the same time we are talking about a hole in the budget, why won't Petkova release them? We don't know what is happening with Bulgaria's public finances, because when we ask, they don't answer us. The truth is that if we don't nationalize “Lukoil“ and the ERPs, if we don't change the fee for gold deposits, there is no way we can fill the hole in the budget. But no one wants to support us in these ideas of ours in parliament", he also said.
The leader of MECH has also noticed the targeted attack against Assen Vassilev. That is why he recalled: "He governed together with Borisov and Peevski. They were together for 10 months. After that, the caretaker government was Glavchev's, that is, GERB's. The actions of the caretaker government on both the deficit and financial policy - GERB was personally responsible for them".
Radostin Vassilev commented on the idea of limiting food price increases as follows: "We would participate in such a conversation, especially if it was initiated by the BSP. They have long since escaped their social role. There is a similar law in Hungary - for the small consumer basket. There is a price ceiling there. We would support it and would give ideas, because we are also preparing something like that".
