I was expelled from "We Continue the Change" because I opposed the attempt to bring "Vazrazhdane" to power. Yavor Bojankov and I are members of the PP-DB's PG. "I was expelled from the party because I stood for a principled position - "Vazrazhdane" is the most dangerous thing for Bulgaria's European path," Lorer believes.
According to him, there was no vote to expel him from "We Continue the Change". "Everything was announced on Facebook", he said.
I am no longer a member of the PP and I say this with serious pain, because over the past three years I have participated in building the party. And now I see a major retreat from the values of the party that were announced when it was founded. We work as one group, because our goals are the same, added Lorer.
I have repeatedly expressed my reluctance to work with "Vazrazhdane". They believe in the collapse of the EU, they see Bulgaria in the East, the MP also said.
And he revealed: I have opposed the PP's plan - Ivan Ivanov to replace Raya Nazaryan as chairman of the 50th National Assembly. "Another part of the talks that were held in the dark - Silvi Kirilov to be elected as the Speaker of the 51st National Assembly and to become the acting Prime Minister. That is where "Vazrazhdane"'s reach for power comes from, Lorer also pointed out.
Exactly two days later we found a moderate option - Natalia Kiselova, without Peevski and "Vazrazhdane". We could have achieved something better and elected Gen. Atanasov as the Speaker. Our group did not make the necessary efforts, as it did for Silvi Kirilov, noted Daniel Lorer.
