Boyko Borisov said on the sidelines of the parliament that together with the chairman of the Health Committee Kostadin Angelov they will introduce a law to ban vapes, Dariknews.bg reports
"I am for a complete ban on vapes, this cannot continue. Children are dying from them and this must be stopped immediately. If the committees manage today, all political parties will have signed such a law and they may be banned as a matter of urgency next week. Here is the role of the parliament with a law to stop all this and then the regulatory bodies. We all want to deal with the collapse and chaos. The control bodies will have to be strengthened and control the lives and health of children,", Borisov pointed out.
He stated that he was categorical that children should not be allowed energy drinks until the age of 18. "This is diabetes in a bottle or in a can. When you see what one is full of and then we talk about why children are getting fat, nervous and more excited", Borisov also said.
The GERB leader also commented on other topics. Sylvester Stallone should join the campaign to help abolish visas for Bulgarians in the US, he suggested and launched his idea after a question about the inclusion of Maria Bakalova in the campaign. Borisov said he had given his proposal to Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev.
"President Trump promised that we would receive the right, like all other European countries, to travel without visas. Then we did it with Canada", he recalled the conversations during his third cabinet. Sylvester Stallone could also participate in the campaign "because of his words that even wolves have the Internet in Bulgaria".
