"Vazrazhdane“ will submit today to the National Assembly a draft resolution to establish a temporary commission to investigate the activities of foreign foundations, foreign state structures on the territory of our country. This was announced on the sidelines of the parliament by the party's chairman Kostadin Kostadinov, BTA reports.
It is planned to investigate the activities of the "Open Society" Foundation, "Open Society" Institute, the "America for Bulgaria", "Hans Seidel", "Konrad Adenauer" Foundations, the Norwegian Fund and other similar organizations. According to Kostadinov, over the past 30 years in Bulgaria, they have created "a network of structures that literally parasitize on civil society and the media sector and have their own frank and undisguised interference in the Bulgarian political space".
From "Vazrazhdane" They hope for support from other political formations, because they saw that there were those who "somehow burned with a desire to investigate Soros". Kostadinov noted that the proposal of "DPS-New Beginning" for an investigation into Soros lacks the "Open Society" Foundation and the "Open Society" Institute, and only talks about Soros. We will want to find out who the scholarship holders are, to get a list, to announce them, to see who took how much money, because these foundations work extremely non-transparently, explained the leader of "Vazrazhdane". We want to understand where this money is going, he added, noting that these foundations also have subcontractors who also distributed funds.
Regarding the ban on vapes, as proposed by GERB with introduced legal amendments, Kostadinov explained that the topic was discussed yesterday in the Culture Committee, as an accompanying committee, and all political forces have declared themselves in favor of a complete ban on the sale of these products, and not just as the initial version was - their advertising. Whether GERB or another political force will introduce it, I believe that it will meet the support of all political forces in the National Assembly, because this is something that has no political overtones, said Kostadin Kostadinov. "Vazrazhdane" would have additional proposals for more restrictions.
