The political crisis in recent years has caused very serious damage. We could already be a member of the eurozone, but we were slow and now we have to catch up in this direction. There are very important priorities for the state - this was commented in the studio of "The Day Begins with Georgi Lyubenov" by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, leader of DSB and part of the PP-DB PG Atanas Atanasov.
Regarding the budget for this year, Atanasov said that they will not support it:
"We are the opposition and there are principles in politics. The opposition cannot vote on the budget of the ruling party at first reading. In the parliamentary group of our coalition, a debate on the budget is not being held, because there is nothing to discuss."
In his words, the creation of this government has a history:
"It was a long battle to stage a coup in the BSP, to remove Kornelia Ninova and to take power in the BSP from the compromisers, who for a long time negotiated behind the scenes with Borisov for this specific assembly."
PP-DB is the main opposition force and looks to the modern West. There may be disputes within the formation, but there is no division in the coalition and our main task as the opposition is to be very well organized and coordinated with each other, regardless of the differences we have, Atanas Atanasov also pointed out.
