The SJC Plenum will discuss a letter from Acting Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court Georgi Cholakov regarding allocation of funds for new hardware equipment following the cyberattack against the case management information system (EDIS) of the administrative courts on January 27. This is stated in the agenda of the SJC Plenum. The discussion will take place on February 13.
The equipment is for restoring the operability, reliability and protection of the court's information systems, and especially the EDIS, in the conditions of urgency to overcome the consequences of the cyberattack suffered.
"We have established that we are the victim of a so-called ransomware attack. Software entered our system, after which it encrypted all the information and we had no access. "The reason may be human error," Judge Georgi Cholakov told the SJC Plenum during a hearing following the cyberattack. According to him, no data leak has been identified at this time.
