The opposition is free to participate in the nomination processes for regulators. The rules must be workable, not to make a show, but to select candidates for regulators with the relevant professional qualities. In the Supreme Judicial Council there is also a professional quota that is not elected by the National Assembly and for which 160 votes are not required.

According to her, PP-DB wants to win, even when they don't participate. It is unnecessary to set models in advance, and everyone must make an effort to ensure that the best happens - that the regulators are filled with the best and most prepared people, Sacheva emphasized.
Otherwise, the ruling party wants to nominate the best candidates for the regulators whose mandate has expired. The expectations for the regulators are high, but we must also take into account the political realities. We are not ready to negotiate and work in conditions of non-working work models and to constantly criticize people for a publication on Google or rumors, commented Denitsa Sacheva.
Regarding the preparation of the 2025 budget and whether there is a hole in the state finances, Sacheva said that the budget is in deficit. The general estimates made by the Ministry of Finance show that there are expenses that have not been paid - over 4.5 billion leva, which have not been paid to the municipalities, commented Sacheva, who refused to speculate with figures from the budget in the public space. She added that the 2025 budget will limit expenses and increase revenues.
Denitsa Sacheva explained that Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova appointed Lyudmila Petkova as Deputy Minister of Finance so that she could get acquainted with the environment, but subsequently decided that a new team was needed in the relevant ministry. No conspiracies should be sought from her dismissal, she urged. Denitsa Sacheva also pointed out that the state has no money and has not earned that much money for all the expenses that need to be made. The governing majority will present a real and feasible budget.
According to her, instead of the PP-DB proposing bills, they should invest expert opinion and give their opinion on the ordinance on the increase in salaries in the Ministry of Interior. Salaries in the Ministry of Interior will be increased, Denitsa Sacheva assured. The governing parties are not ready to take the step of having employees in the state administration pay their own insurance. The question is, if such a measure is introduced, what will we achieve? If we continue to dismantle the state administration, who will work there, asked Sacheva. She is of the opinion that decisions should not be made quickly and on the fly.
Regarding the ceiling on the price of the markup proposed by the BSP-United on the Left, Sacheva believes that such a ceiling on the markup will not solve the problems with rising prices. The price ceiling is not the solution, because there are cartels further up the chain, she added.
