Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov is meeting with all airport operators in the country today, BNT reports. He said that he expects a proposal by Friday with possible legal and technological solutions that would ensure that drones will not endanger the safety of flights in our country.
At the meeting with the Air Traffic Control Agency, "Border Police", the Directorate of Internal Affairs and representatives of two of the directorates in the National Agency for National Security and Defense, the problems that were highlighted during the unregulated entry of a drone into Sofia Airport last Friday were discussed.
The machine is a large "Krilo" type drone, weighs about 30 kg, is not sold en masse and requires special skills to operate it. The owner of the drone is still being sought.
