Tonight, light snow will begin to fall in Western Bulgaria, and during the day, light rain mixed with snow will fall in the central regions of Northern Bulgaria, BNT reported.
The maximum temperatures will be between 2° and 7°, in Sofia - around 5°, and the wind will be weak, from the east, in the eastern regions - southerly wind.
It will be windier again along the Black Sea coast with a moderate southerly wind. There, the day will start with sunny weather, but by the evening, the cloudiness will increase there too.
A strong wind will blow in the high mountainous parts, with a direction from the west-northwest. In the lower parts, the wind will be moderate, from the west. Light snowfalls will be in the Balkan Mountains and in the massifs of Western Bulgaria.
On Friday, a temporary warming is expected with a low probability of precipitation, but snowfalls are expected during the weekend, and in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria - rain.
Temperatures will begin to drop, more significantly on Monday, when mainly in Central and Eastern Bulgaria there will be snowfalls. Snow cover is expected to form, and in combination with the strong northeast wind there will be conditions for blizzards and drifts.
