Defense Minister Atanas Zapryanov will take part in the meeting of defense ministers of NATO member states in Brussels.
This was announced by the Ministry of Defense.
The forum will provide an opportunity to discuss and make decisions on some of the most current topics related to strengthening the deterrent and defense potential of the Alliance. The main priorities for the preparation for the upcoming meeting of heads of state and government in The Hague, the Netherlands, on June 24-25, will also be outlined. d.
The meeting will also address a number of key issues on NATO's agenda, such as fair burden-sharing and responsibility-sharing, the implementation of the Defence Investment Commitment (DIP), and the updated Defence Production Action Plan (DPAP).
A working session of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of Defence Ministers will be held during the Defence Ministers' meeting, to discuss long-term political and practical support for Ukraine.
