We are satisfied with the boycott and with the fact that the voice of the consumer is now heard. Bulgarians have shown that the pricing and approach of both the chains and the state in the person of the rulers, who always work piecemeal, cannot continue in this way. This was said in "The Day Begins" on BNT on the occasion of the boycott of the retail chains that took place yesterday by Andrey Velchev - Chairman of the Association for Affordable and Quality Food.
"This is not from yesterday. There is such a trend and it continues. There is a decline in trust in the chains on an overall scale".
The state must play its role. The debate about the state reducing prices by force is harmful, said Velchev. He called for a broad debate between producers, classes, consumer organizations.
"We are not alone. Everyone is participating in this debate. Finally, politicians are hearing the voice. We need to look for a solution, not just conclusions.
