Today, by decree of President Rumen Radev, the “Sofia“ airport will no longer be called “Sofia“ airport, but “Vasil Levski“ airport.
This is more than wonderful. This is perfectly logical - the largest airport in Bulgaria should bear the name of the greatest Bulgarian hero.
Many people are behind this cause. My screenwriters and I are among them, but this is not that important. The result is important.
I sincerely thank the President of the Republic, Mr. Rumen Radev, for his yet another patriotic and patriotic attitude towards reality.
Now, when any foreigner arrives in Bulgaria, he will hear from the captain of the plane: “Welcome to “Vasil Levski“ Airport. Welcome to Bulgaria.“
