On the sidelines of parliament, Boyko Borisov again raised the topic of fuel exports from "Lukoil" and the billions that, in his words, went to the Russian refinery during the derogation and the government of Nikolay Denkov. He hinted that he expects news related to smuggling, BNT reported.
"Ukraine and the export of fuels from Bulgaria, the billions that went to the Russian refinery during the derogation.... They were exported by "Lukoil" with the government of Denkov, Vassilev, Petkov... We constantly submitted to parliament to drop the derogation and Prime Minister Denkov threatened that he would resign. Then, if you take out your archives, I said - there will come a time and someone very high-ranking in the world will bear responsibility, because these are many billions of dollars that have been smuggled to Ukraine, to Russia, and this cannot happen only with our local rulers, who were tearing their shirts to keep the derogation....They were raising the issue of either derogation or resigning, and we did not want the government to fall...I am optimistic that there will be news on Ukraine related to smuggling...sooner or later", commented GERB leader Boyko Borisov.
"We all know that when it comes to the derogation, the decisions were made by the National Assembly, so I did not hear, I did not see, I did not know, this is not my finance minister, these are typical Borisov tricks that no longer work", said Kiril Petkov from PP-DB.
"On the topic of "Lukoil" "everything was robbed by Asen Vassilev and company, this whole thing with Denkov, Niki, Miki and the whole group were riding like vegetables and potatoes in the back seats of the Russians," said Delyan Peevski, chairman of the PG "DPS-New Beginning".
