The Asian company Tri-Wall Limited has chosen Bulgaria for its next investment of over 60 million leva - a new corrugated cardboard and packaging plant in the "Thrace Economic Zone" with the creation of 150 jobs.
At a ceremony at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev presented a certificate for a "class A" investment to the company "Tri-Wall Bulgaria" EOOD, part of the company that will implement the investment project. The certificate is issued by the Ministry of Innovation and Growth under the Investment Promotion Act and through it the investor can benefit from administrative or financial incentives.
In order to provide timely support from the state, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth concluded contracts with the investor and the Municipality of Maritsa, on whose territory the investment is located, for the construction of technical infrastructure. The Municipality was provided with an advance of 4 million leva for the implementation of the incentive measure by the Ministry of Innovation and Growth.
„The Ministry did everything possible to support this investment – by providing funds for infrastructure, establishing contact between the investor and the institutions, preparing documents, conversations and meetings. The joint work with the Bulgarian Investment Agency and the Thrace Economic Zone led to the implementation of this large investment and I believe that this will be indicative for other future investors with interest in Japan“, Donchev emphasized during the conversation.
The founder and CEO of the company Yuji Suzuki thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the meeting and emphasized that they chose Bulgaria over Turkey not only because of the strategic geographical location and the opportunities it offers as an EU member, but also because of the hospitality and good attitude of the people.
The manager of the company in our country Cihangir Erol presented the project in detail during the meeting and stated that he sees potential for growth of both the investment and the company itself.
