Silvia Velikova: Borisov questioned Zelensky's legitimacy - 1

Kostadin Kostadinov is behaving like a leader who sees that his party is losing momentum. This was stated to bTV by journalist Silvia Velikova in connection with what happened in front of the EC representation building in Sofia.

„I think it could have been predicted. To a large extent, the police did not do a bad job. When the big debate on the convergence report was going on in parliament, the leader of „Vazrazhdane” Kostadin Kostadinov said that he would set the country on fire. It was not a metaphor. Obviously, there was preparation. The question is whether the police knew that the target would be the EC building”, she added.

In her words, it was ugly that the deputies of „Vazrazhdane” were put at the forefront because they know that they cannot be touched.

„Bulgarians do not want the euro because they do not understand it and people like Kostadinov are misrepresenting things to them. I do not think there will be a consolidation of people who will take to the streets to support Kostadinov”, Velikova emphasized.

„Even Radostin Vassilev, who is not a supporter of the euro, condemned what happened in front of the EC building”, she specified.

„Borisov questioned the legitimacy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, so I think the reversal has begun, which is very sad because you cannot erase what was said before. This is related to the USA”, the journalist emphasized.

„There are very few names on the table to say who is who. This is the modern opposition strategy - to say that someone is Peevski's man," she said in connection with the elections of heads of regulators in our country.

„Kostadinov brought people to fight with the great power of the building. A building that they only managed to dirty. They failed to do anything else. I think they made another mistake. Kostadinov needs to understand that police officers are raised by Bulgarian mothers and that pushing and beating them because they are doing their duty, I think is not so patriotic”, said PR expert Nidal Algafari.

„He will certainly continue, because this is the only thing he has left”, he emphasized.

„If those proposed for heads of regulators are Peevski's men, this means that he has an extremely large basket of personnel. "It seems to me more like chewing gum, because anyone we don't like is a Peevski guy," he said in connection with the elections of regulators' chiefs.
