Due to the critically low temperatures in the country, pellet factories in the Southwest are reporting an increase in demand for this type of solid fuel, BNT reported. Against this background, however, the price per cubic meter of wood for pellet producers is high, and the selling prices per ton of pellets are too low to cover their costs.
