Hristina Hristova: We do not see reforms and intentions for changes in Budget 2025 - 1

We do not see reforms and intentions for changes in Budget 2025. Not a single change is planned, for example, in the pension system or the minimum wage, as well as in social payments such as social assistance and whether the new definition of energy poverty will be included in these payments. This was stated by former Social Minister Hristina Hristova on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.

According to Vasil Velev from the Association of Industrial Capital, more and more is being taken from working people in Bulgaria. "We still pay the most out of the entire EU for public order and security. We are turning into a police state, where money is taken from working people and given to protect the dictatorship from the proletariat," he said.

"Money is being poured into unreformed systems that we are all dissatisfied with,", Velev is categorical.

According to him, we have a constant increase in the administration, and according to him, these people receive 26% higher incomes and now their incomes will increase even more."The biggest problem with the budget is that it will not be implemented. This is absurd!", he said and added that a 0% deficit is no longer normal, but 3%.
Hristova said that in her opinion, the big problem with the budget is that some areas have very inflated expenses and want very large revenues. "We will work in the areas of strengthening financial control, and that is good, we must also fight the gray sector", believes Hristova.

22% is the gray economy in Bulgaria, Vasil Velev is categorical. "Salaries in the budget sector must be frozen, the Covid supplement must be removed from pensions, the binding to the average salary must be stopped.", he explained.
