Dzhevdet Chakarov: We will insist on being heard by the other parties in the Joint Governance Council - 1

Due to the inclusion of “Democracy for Rights and Freedoms“, the parliamentary majority of 126 deputies was formed and because of which we have a regular government. This was the right thing to do, because the spiral of elections would have continued, and the political crisis would have deepened, so we made our contribution. This was stated to journalists in parliament by the chairman of the MRF-DPS PG, Dzhevdet Chakarov, quoted by novini.bg

“We joined after we received an invitation to participate in the finalization of the negotiations. It was agreed there that we would be part of the parliamentary majority. This is evident from the continuation, which is an integral part of the agreement“, he added.

We will refrain from talking about appointments, because everything should be in the hypothesis of a functioning and content-filled Joint Management Council. For the first echelon, we agreed not to have representatives, but for the second and third echelons in the hypothesis of Art. 3, i.e. 4 should have discussions, as it is right that all four entities have their representatives, the MP explained.

Chakarov indicated that he would not go into details, but they want to receive staff positions.

„This government must continue to dismantle the „Peevski“ model, which means that people who are appointed by regions and continue to be „clubs“, must be withdrawn from this cabinet“, the politician emphasized.
According to him, it is important „to start functioning“ The Joint Governance Council warned that the MRF-DPS will insist on being heard by the other parliamentary parties in the Council.

When asked what would happen if they were not heard, Chakarov hinted that it was possible for the MRF-DPS to withdraw from the agreement, but expressed hope that it would not come to that.

There must be honesty, because on our side there is, Chakarov explained.
