The prosecution claims that sufficient evidence has been collected for Bojanov to be charged with a crime in office. In the period from May 20 to June 17, 2022. in Sofia as Minister of Electronic Governance and contracting authority for public procurement, Bozanov violated his official duties under the Classified Information Protection Act and the Ministry's Internal Rules and provided the executive director of the Agency for Electronic Governance Infrastructure with a flash drive file representing a technical specification, and instructed it to be used to conduct a public procurement for nearly 18 million leva, the state prosecution claims.

Bozhanov also commented on the request to lift the immunity of the co-chairman of "We continue the change" Kiril Petkov.
The prosecution claims that it has collected evidence that he committed an attempt at coercion. On October 2, 2023. in a restaurant in Sofia, Petkov attempted to force Alexander Yolovski, Minister of Electronic Governance, to do something against his will.
