“BSP has the “lion’s share” in the government. They have the Speaker of the National Assembly (NA), the Deputy Prime Minister, ministers, deputy ministers, chairmen of committees, deputy chairmen of committees. In this sense, they have a much better agreement than everyone else.“
This was commented on by GERB MP Denitsa Sacheva.
She explained that everyone involved in the joint government has different views and ideologies.
“The conversations and dialogues between us, including the “flying of sparks”, should not surprise anyone, because this is a process that will probably last a long time,” she said.
According to the GERB MP, the scandals and problems between the ruling parties should not be seen as something fatal, because they have a common goal - Bulgaria's admission to the eurozone.
“What unites us is that Bulgaria needs a government and a budget. There are other topics on which we want to move the country forward,” she specified.
Sacheva reiterated that at the moment, the behavior of DPS-Dogan seems to be “destabilizing the coalition”, because “they are constantly dealing with appointments and personalities”.
She was categorical that despite the demand of Dogan's people for Kostadin Angelov to be replaced as chairman of the coalition council, this is not on the agenda.
