Nidal Algaffari on the Constitutional Court's decision: An attempt to be both naked and clothed - 1

Some form of justice has been created, because there have been suspicions for a long time that election manipulations are taking place. The Constitutional Court's decision is a bold decision in the right direction. This was said in the program "From the Day" on BNT by political scientist Slavi Vassilev in connection with the Constitutional Court's decision that 16 deputies were elected illegally and the "Majesty" party enters parliament.

This is some attempt to be both naked and clothed, both dry and wet. In order to have some kind of fair decision, a recalculation of the results in all sections in the country must be made. If we are going to review the elections, we need to review them completely, everywhere, said political analyst Nidal Algaffari.

Borisov is uncomfortable because the decision will have another effect - not so much that "Majesty" will enter parliament, but that it will reveal his clear connection with Peevski. Now without Peevski, decisions will not be able to be pushed through and it will be even more difficult for Borisov to conceal this connection. Borisov is trying to conceal Peevski. It would be a problem for Borisov if he showed up with him in broad daylight, Vassilev pointed out.

Even when this majority was formed, it was clear to everyone that Borisov could count on a majority of over 170 deputies when he sets off towards the eurozone. It will be a little more difficult for him after "Majesty" enters parliament, because he has to take into account Delyan Peevski, Kiril Petkov, and Atanas Atanasov. I hope that there will be no new elections, because they will be just as "interesting" as the previous ones, Algaffari added.

The argument that the eurozone is the strategic goal in the next year and a half - two is not realistic. Borisov is using the eurozone to justify his cooperation with Peevski, Slavi Vassilev pointed out.

He also commented on today's sharp words of the GERB leader regarding President Rumen Radev.

Borisov needs an enemy, and Borisov's natural enemy is Radev. Borisov needs a punching bag to beat. It is convenient for him to shift the spotlight to the president in order to cover up the inconvenient truth that Borisov and Peevski 100% govern together, said Vassilev.

I don't know if Borisov needs a punching bag, I rather think he wants to go down in history as the fact that in a very difficult moment he managed to get us to have the euro and to wear that on his lapel, said Nidal Algaffari.
