Traffic is being restricted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a section of the I-1 Sofia - Kulata road, from the 367th km - at the "Blagoevgrad Yug" road junction, to the 375th km, at the road connection to the town of Simitli. The reason - geodetic measurements in the old "Zheleznitsa" tunnel on the first-class road, the "Road Infrastructure" Agency (API) reports.
Traffic is being redirected along the "Struma" motorway to the connection with road I-1 to the town of Simitli and back.
The movement of buses is carried out on road BLG1071 with a route on road I-1 Sofia - Kulata to km 369 (diversion to the village of Dolno Tserovo), on road BLG1071 through the village of Zheleznitsa and along the street network of the town of Simitli to the road connection with road I-1 Sofia - Kulata and back.
While the geodetic measurements are being carried out in the section, only vehicles with a special traffic regime will be allowed to pass.
Drivers must drive with increased caution and at a reasonable speed, according to the established traffic organization.
