Who won and who lost from the Constitutional Court's verification of the election results and how the country will be governed? The answers are given by media expert Diana Damyanova, political scientists Slavi Vassilev and Prof. Rosen Stoyanov from “Gallup International Balkan“.

Regarding the missing election papers from seven sections, Damyanova commented that they should have been searched for at a much earlier stage. “Search the bags“ will be the hit of this spring. I have objections to the case: First we will pronounce ourselves, then we will refer the matter to the prosecutor's office and the police. Even if there were any traces, they have long since been swept away“, she added to Nova TV.

“I sincerely hope for more answers from the prosecutor's office. We still have to leave some faith and trust in the institutions. If there was something to cover up, enough time has passed so that things can fit together. Urban legends have always talked about stories of this kind, even about more terrible events. But it is now so obvious that we will discuss it for at least a week - two, until something covers it up“, claims Prof. Stoyanov.

According to Slavi Vassilev, the craziest theory on the subject is that there was a conspiracy between the president and the Constitutional Court to bring in the “Velicie“ party. “This is an absolutely untenable thesis. All public processes in Bulgaria always have some degree of incompetence or lack of responsibility“, the political scientist was categorical.

“We are heading towards a 4-year mandate for this government. This is my conviction“, Damyanova added.

“Boyko Borisov does not need a minimum of 121 deputies, but the opposition does need that much to push this cabinet. However, it is almost impossible to gather them for the simple reason that the total number of supporters drops, but another party enters and the opposition becomes totally heterogeneous“, noted Prof. Stoyanov.

“The core of the majority in parliament is Boyko Borisov and Delyan Peevski. We should have no doubts about this“, said Vassilev.
