“Borisov and Peevski are clear – they are protecting the conquered country. But after the Constitutional Court's decision, we can draw at least 2 conclusions: First, what we all thought and said has now been officially confirmed – the elections are being manipulated and falsified. The second, however, is also important – we knew that Peevski was secretly peeking behind this government. He ordered it, he is governing it. Now they are forced to come forward and for Peevski-Borisov to be the official government. This truth that was behind the scenes has also come to light“.
This is what Kornelia Ninova said to Sasho Dikov in his show on Eurocom TV. And she added:
„Peevski is holding Borisov by the throat through his addictions. The bad thing is that their fears and addictions are holding the entire state and an entire people hostage. It cannot continue like this. There is an alternative to this. And we will fight for it“, she pointed out.
Regarding the results of the election appeal, she believes that the only way to fight against the substituted votes is for the remaining 70% who did not vote to go out and vote. „I know that people are disappointed, but what has happened is also hope - that they will no longer be reconciled and from now on everyone will file signals, elections will be contested, the rules in the electoral legislation will be changed so that things are objective“, Ninova pointed out.
Asked how long this government will last, she replied: „A little. They will accept the budget and that's it. The regulators will stumble things. The regulators and the Supreme Judicial Council. And I say it again from experience - Kiril Petkov's government collapsed the moment we started talking about the regulators. Then the conflict arose between them and Slavi, between ITN and PP-DB, for Karimanski and the BNB it was the first case. Slavi threw in the towel then, it is not true that it was because of Macedonia. And then we were more compact, we had a common goal - against the "GERB" model. Now this heterogeneous majority will never come together to elect even one regulator. Especially for the Supreme Judicial Council - how will 160 people come together in this chaos? ", commented Kornelia Ninova, emphasizing:
“These people are illegitimate, this parliament is illegal, you cannot elect a government, regulators and adopt a budget. The Constitutional Court checked 2,200 sections and 16 deputies turned out to be illegal. If we extrapolate it, counting all 12,000 sections, what will happen? There are another 80 illegal ones, for example. This parliament is absolutely exhausted, illegitimate, no matter what they do, they will not regain the trust of the people“, she said.
Ninova was categorical: “The decision is not to reconcile. Apathy and fear are the biggest enemies of changing our country. We must give courage to the people. There are brave and smart people. There is an alternative“, And in response to questions she added: “Yes, we are doing “Unruly Bulgaria“, I am meeting with many people, creating structures, on April 26 we are being established. I am gathering smart people – I am trying to build an alternative, but in a different way. Borisov and Peevski govern, relying on people's weaknesses - fear, addictions, money, greed, lust for power. I want to gather people on whom I can rely on their virtues and strengths - mind, entrepreneurship, experience, hard work, this is the alternative“.
“Because they are dependent, because they were bought, because of positions, because of money, because of fear of compromising material that Peevski is holding them with“. This is how Kornelia Ninova answered the question why the BSP voted against the creation of a temporary commission to investigate cases of sabotage of the European Prosecutor's Office in Bulgaria.
“For 9 years I have been fighting this octopus, this backstage, the deep state - I called it that back in 2016. Over all these years, this backstage and this mafia have tried their tricks on me, but there are enough examples - when you can't buy or break the first one, you buy and break his entourage and it stabs him in the back. This happened - they couldn't with me, they bought them. And they betrayed me, that's not important - they betrayed the BSP, they betrayed the people, they sold the truth“.
Asked with what they bought them, she said: “This is before your eyes - a deputy prime minister, 4 ministers, the votes. They also voted against the creation of a commission to investigate Peevski. I have had a hard time in these 9 years. Peevski has made me offers too - I have always refused. But I have seen, and I have had, MPs, even then, who either conveniently left the chamber when something was being voted on, but there should be no votes, or during a parliamentary group meeting they pushed for voting in a certain way, for voting for lobbies and money.
In response to what Peevski offered her: “Government. Let's form a government with Boyko Borisov and Peevski played it as a kind of mediator. I said – no. I don't form a government or collude with the mafia. And they took all these actions with my replacement in order to put in place a convenient leadership that would listen to them and execute. These are puppets, this is not the leadership of a party.
And the personal posts: “I categorically refused their offer to be the speaker of the parliament. Then there was an offer to become an ambassador, to be further away and not get in the way. Then an MEP. But, I don't collude with the mafia and I don't compromise my principles. That's why this happened in the BSP“.
This is their style – of Borisov and Peevski. The BSP is not the only case. I simply protected it as the last fortress. How many parties have they smashed, taken over, embraced and destroyed? This is a strategy. A backstage strategy to retain power, destroying everything that could be an alternative or buying it.
To the host's reply about the 42 million leva given by Borisov for the Varna loophole, she confirmed: “Yes, and Georgi Gergov has become my main opponent. And not only him, Boyko over the years has been cultivating an internal party opposition, people in the party to whom he gave public contracts, money for a loophole, etc. with one task - to eliminate me, so that he can take the BSP as another crutch. And he did it“.
Self-critical about the mistake: “I did not calculate that I am very alone in a battle against many and strong opponents. Obviously, that is not how it is done – when you face such strong people, and at the same time. With this rebelliousness of mine, with the unwillingness to ally with the mafia, I managed to unite people who could not stand each other. But, I had the right to choose – I chose this and I do not regret it. I stand by my principles“, answered Kornelia Ninova. And added:
“Let's look at the protests under the president's fist who remained in the same position? I guess I'm the only one. Where are ITN, Slavi from the protests? In the arms of Boyko and Delyan Peevski. Where are DB? With Peevski - they made assemblies and a constitution. Where is Maya Manolova – now governs in the United Left with Boyko. I stand by my principles, I am consistent and this gives me peace and confidence to continue“, said the leader of “Unruly Bulgaria“.
