President Rumen Radev commented to the media on the scandal and the chaos that has arisen between the institutions surrounding the election results, the decision of the Constitutional Court and the subsequent accusations by some of the parliamentaryly represented groups.
"Some people definitely want to remind us that they strongly disagree with statehood, lest we accidentally forget. For them, the Constitutional Court is a mechanical collection of people who must carry out the orders of those who sent them there, not judges who must uphold the Constitution," Radev pointed out.
In his words, amnesia and cynicism are increasingly taking over the top of Bulgarian politics.
"It is precisely those who tainted the elections, who they and their parties send members to the election commissions, who write protocols, hide ballots, buy votes, pressure businesses and seduce mayors with our, state money to vote for them, it is precisely they who attack the institutions. This is cynicism," Radev pointed out.
