A protest demanding a complete annulment of the elections was held in the Triangle of Power, BNT reported. The protesters are demanding the resignation of the government and the dissolution of the 51st National Assembly, because it is illegitimate.
The organizers of the protest are dozens of civil organizations, including "Buditeli", "Dnes", "Alliance of the Citizens of Bulgaria" as well as parliamentaryly represented and unrepresented political parties.
They want the Constitutional Court to annul the elections for the 51st National Assembly, for the government to be dissolved and for early elections to be held.
They also insist on voting on the proposals for changes to the Electoral Code, which guarantee the holding of fair elections, as well as for the resignation of the members of the Electoral Commission.
Alexandria Petkova: "I want change, I want new elections, because these are illegitimate. Right!"
Plamen Pavlov: "Bulgarians must wake up and come out, it's time for us all to come out, it can't continue like this, they don't recognize referendums, they hold elections in a way that everyone is outraged, what more could there be?!"
