Tsoncho Ganev: We saw political interference by the Constitutional Court - 1

From the first day of this National Assembly, we started collecting signatures to cancel the elections. Only some of the then BSP deputies signed before the new BSP deputies entered and were sworn in, and we did not collect the required number of signatures. So, from the first day, we have been saying that the elections were not fair and there should have been a cancellation.

This was commented on by the deputy chairman of "Vazrajdane" to BNT Tsoncho Ganev.

"We saw a political intervention by the Constitutional Court, which delegitimized it absolutely immediately the next moment it decided to cross out a few thousand votes of Bulgarian voters at the expense of others", emphasized Ganev.

In his words, as soon as it became clear about the violations, and from the rostrum of the National Assembly, the people who had established these violations signaled that this was happening back in December:

"The Constitutional Court should have immediately signaled the prosecutor's office, since this is a crime. There is a way for this information to reach the prosecutor's office, and it is not hidden from the Constitutional Court. And the moment it is established that there is a crime, a full recount can be ordered and there are grounds. The Constitutional Court decides to count only a few sections. Is this the legitimate decision? No, it is not legitimate, he said.

And precisely because of this, "Vazrazhdane" believes that this composition of this Constitutional Court should be immediately dissolved and a new one elected, because it has proven and shows that it is not legitimate.
