The BSP has been raising the issue of the fairness of the elections for decades. At every election and now, we look at all kinds of things - with machines, with paper, we tried one way, the other way and always find flaws. It is high time to say that almost all parties in the National Assembly have prepared amendments to the Electoral Code. But who really makes the elections? In reality, we, the parties, make the elections. The members of the section election commissions are filled by parties, the RECs by parties, the CEC also by parties.
This was commented on by the MP from "BSP - United Left" Atanas Atanasov.
"Since the BSP has already fully staffed all its governing bodies, my current position is the party's organizational secretary. One of the first tasks we will undertake is to review the election administration. In fact, who were our members in the sections who wrote, scribbled on the ballot papers?" he said.
Regarding the Constitutional Court's decision, Atanasov said that these decisions are not commented on and put an end to them:
"The only problem we can note is this ambiguity, which left a rather serious note of doubt among citizens about the entire process - between the CEC, between the Constitutional Court and the prosecutor's office, of course. This, unfortunately, continues to undermine trust in institutions."
According to him, all parties must currently work to restore citizens' trust in the entire electoral system.
Regarding the fragile majority, Atanasov said that if the work of the parliament is blocked and if there are no sessions, the budget will not be adopted, the municipalities will not be able to adopt their budgets, all social payments will be suspended, as well as the increases provided for in the budget. And in general, all systems in the state will stop working again, he added.
