Bogdan Bogdanov: The cabinet is leaning on two golden boots - Peevski on Borisov's neck and Putin on the opposition

"We are not surprised by the approach of "Vazrazhdane", because they are consistent in separating Bulgaria on its European path. We saw it around the budget discussions. They tried to sabotage the discussion and every debate in the National Assembly turns into a waste of parliamentary time, in order to achieve a negative convergent report.", commented the MP from PP-DB

Bogdan Bogdanov: The cabinet is leaning on two golden boots - Peevski on Borisov's neck and Putin on the opposition - 1

We are not afraid of the topic of corruption and we will fight against corruption. What we fear is that public energy will not be wasted in meaningless battles in parties that are pressured by dependencies from countries hostile to Bulgaria and want to change the direction of development to the east. We will fight for Bulgaria to take its place in Europe, said Bogdan Bogdanov, a PP-DB MP and Minister of Economy in the "Denkov" cabinet, in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio.

"We are not surprised by the approach of "Vazrazhdane", because they are consistent in separating Bulgaria on its European path. We saw it around the budget discussions. They tried to sabotage the discussion and every debate in the National Assembly turns into a waste of parliamentary time, in order to achieve a negative convergent report. This will be the goal of the next vote of no confidence, which they are dressing up as foreign policy or corruption, which is our main topic", commented Bogdanov on the show "Nedelya 150".
"We believe that the main priority should remain the stability of Bulgaria until the preparation of a convergence report and in May, June, when we know the opinion of our European partners, then we can return to the issue of the future of this government", he added.

Bogdanov pointed out that when the PP-DB governed in a coalition - the assembly, they found the mechanism "to move Bulgaria forward, I have evidence that we were on the right track, people's salaries and incomes were growing":

"It was important for us to have a human policy, to distribute state resources to the people. The government is in the opposite direction - resources are distributed to oligarchic circles. That is why we have said that the reactions of "Vazrazhdane" and MRF-NN are often in sync with those policies from the past that we are fighting to change".

Bogdanov pointed out that the government is not supported by the golden toe of MRF-NN, but by two golden boots.

"One of Peevski, who stepped on Borisov's neck, and the second of Putin, who stepped on the neck of the opposition. We were the only opposition when it came to people in the budget policies," said Bogdan Bogdanov.

And he predicted that the government would support each other as long as "they have a mutual interest - for this redistribution to happen, and we will fight the opposite":

"The government plans to withdraw much more money as a loan than it plans. This shows that the Minister of Finance does not want to have transparency in how the money is spent. In-house orders started last week, between RIA and highways. And this model of handing out money like a shilling has begun. Instead of taxpayers' money being staked on pens and policies, it is being distributed at the discretion of the Minister of Finance and the government".
The former Minister of Economy claims that Bulgaria will double its debt by 2028, from 48 billion leva. up to 90 billion leva:

"And to give fuel to a system that is expensive to maintain, it "rides" in armored cars and so the state money, which should be the people, will go to the expenses of the system".

He pointed out that PP-DB will not stop criticizing the government and "will continue until we achieve our goals on a daily basis".

Bogdanov was categorical that the system must be cleansed of corrupt officials. And he recommended that the public support the police from Plovdiv, the Directorate of Police and Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva. They should be protected so that they can speak out.

"We as a society must stand behind them, protect them, because with pressure they will make them close their eyes", the PP-DB MP pointed out.

He admitted that he also feels guilty for the death of Siyana:

"The little girl is a victim of inaction by officials in my constituency - Pleven. I also feel guilty before the voters who send me to the National Assembly and think that we can do anything. I am fighting to change something".

Bogdanov commented on the topic of Bulgaria's place in the European defense industry and the election of members of the regulators.
